Life Lately

If my lack of blogging lately is any indication both work and life have been hectic. Here's just some pictures to show what we have been up to lately in the Robinson household. 

 Enjoying the beautiful Fall weather at the park. Mainly just go to the one in our neighborhood because #convenient 

 She loves to chase us on the bridge and run back and forth. The giggles she lets out are the best.

Michael and Jamie Stribos got married in Dahlonega and we had the best time with my family celebrating. We had a nice night with all the adults in the family. Beautiful wedding! 

 Lorna is my godmother and was the mother of the groom. She looked beautiful!  

Bathroom is just about done! Vanity has been put in since I took this picture and just last little finishings left before it's all done! Tommy did such a wonderful job #impressedwife

Got out the nativity set and it's been as big of a hit this year as it was last year!

As I was gearing up for some important things for work the week before break this girl got sick and well mommy duty called and work had to take a back seat. We had croup! No fun but I think we caught it on the early side so a few days of steroids and the cough got much better leading us into the break. I ended up taking both Wednesday and Thursday off to spend some recoup time with me. I definitely enjoyed the snuggles and one-on-one time. 

 Thursday I had already taken the day off awhile back for some doc appointements for myself and her 18 month appointment was that afternoon. I hadn't intended on her being with me for mine but that's just life. She was really good considering the circumstances! We both survived. 

Now we are at the beach for the week off and I will post updates once we are back! 18 month updates to come soon too. Happy Thanksgiving week! 

Maxey Wedding

This past weekend we were in Athens celebrating the marriage of Christy Reimann and Andrew Maxey. We had the best time celebrating these two! Christy and I have been friends since 6th grade. Tommy and Andrew have been friends since elementary school. Christy and Andrew went to UGA with me and we are so happy for them to spend their lives together! Just a warning I took a LOT of pictures. We had a wonderful weekend with lots of activities. 

Friday morning we had a luncheon at my favorite, The Last Resort, for all the bridesmaids and mothers. The food was fantastic. I got my favorite fried green tomato sandwich with a salad and their vidalia bacon dressing. YUM

After the luncheon a few of us headed to TAME to get our hair blown out for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. The rehearsal was at The Graduate and we then headed to The Georgian for the rehearsal dinner. It was a lovely evening with lots of speeches describing just how great Christy and Andrew are. The Maxeys put on a beautiful night. The food was delicious and the space was perfect for the group. 

We went out for a little bit that night after the dinner before calling it a night because we had a long day ahead of us for wedding day! 

We had to be at The Graduate to get ready at 8am. I was done with my hair/makeup by 10am so just hung out with the girls while everyone else finished up getting ready. We took pictures on North Campus before heading back to the hotel for the wedding. The ceremony was in a room upstairs with exposed brick and really pretty light fixtures. The reception was all down stairs. They had one room with the buffet and a few tables and the main room had the dance floor, bars, and tables to eat. It was beautifully decorated! Christy picked such simple florals that looked stunning! Christy was a beautiful bride with such a unique dress (it was the color blush). The wedding was such fun and we danced the night away! Hairy Dawg made an appearance as well. Christy and Andrew are in Jamaica now for their honeymoon and I hope they are enjoying the relaxation!
