So with only getting around to documenting every two months a lot has changed since 5 months! Addie has started food. She is a BIG fan of actual food over purees. It took her a bit to get used to purees so I took the nutritionists advice and introduced her to solid food in small pieces and then she got really good at purees so she has a mixture of them both three times a day. She loves bananas, sweet potato, apple, pancakes, chicken, and ground beef. She is such a little ham when it comes to food and is gaining weight so well. Right now we aren't having to give her enzymes because her pancreas is working like it should which is such a praise! She has started pulling herself up onto her knees and rocking. She can scoot herself around in circles on her belly but can't move in a forward motion. She has gotten better at tolerating her nebulizer and respiratory therapy. We do treatments twice day right now and will do indefinitely. Right now her nebulizer treatment has albuterol and saline solution. Over the past two months we've been up to a lot. She had her first double ear infection and handled it like a champ. She went to the beach for spring break with me, mimi, Emma, Ansley and Gavin. We had such a great time! In March, she got baptized in the same gown her sister and father got baptized in. It was a really special day for us all. She got to celebrate her bestie, James Hartman, getting baptized as well. Us girls survived basically two weeks without Daddy while he was traveling for training for his new job. Addie celebrated Collier, Mimi and Baba's birthdays in March. Her buddy, Tucker Maxey, came in town so we got to visit with him. She had her first weekend away from mom and dad while we went to a wedding. Lastly, she got to celebrate her first Easter on her 7 month birthday. We have had a really busy spring and it's shaping up to be a really busy summer as well! We are on the MAJOR countdown to summer break and Mommy officially stopping work. My last day is May 24th and then I'll be home taking care of this precious girl and her older sister. I CANT WAIT!
Picture dump of Addie! I will do anther post with all the other happenings so I don't forget this fun/busy time with my family.
