Sunday, February 19th was Beth and Danny's wedding day!
I started the day with a lovely walk on the beach while Emma napped with Uncle Floyd, Ashley, and Aunt Ginny. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. We then spent the rest of the day getting all dolled up for the wedding. We left the house around 3:15pm to head to the Venue to get some pictures taken and do some last minute decorations before the ceremony which was at 5pm. The Dunes West Country Club is beautiful and right on the waterway. There were around 60-70 guests from near and far. Tommy officiated the wedding and did a fantastic job at that. I walked the flower girls down the aisle in their wagon. They did great! They didn't want to sit long once we were seated so me and the other flower girl's dad walked the two girls around during the ceremony to keep them from freaking out.
After the ceremony we took some pictures by the water (only downside was there were lots of no-see-em bugs. I got eaten alive!). Then everyone headed in for the cocktail hour before dinner. When the guests headed up to dinner I went and fed Emma and put her down in the locker room with the babysitter (thanks Beth for organizing!). Then I got to enjoy the rest of the wedding without my sidekick on my hip!
There was lots of dancing, delicious food, and a sparkler exit to finish off the night. We had a wonderful time! Thank you Courtney and Tom for throwing quite a shindig. We are so excited for Aunt Beth and Uncle Danny. Congrats and welcome to the family, Danny!
